Rising production rates and the launch of new aircraft programs are driving increased demand for manufacturing capacity across the aerospace industry. To support this growth, FACC plans to invest approximately EUR 350 million by 2030 in advanced technologies, infrastructure expansion, and the further internationalization of its operations.

As part of this long-term growth strategy, FACC has strengthened and optimized its financing structure. A syndicate of seven Austrian and German banks, led by UniCredit Bank Austria, has agreed to refinance the company’s existing syndicated loan and provide a new EUR 190 million financing facility. The agreement secures long-term funding, enhances financial flexibility, and supports future investments as well as strategic growth opportunities.

Florian Heindl, CFO of FACC AG commented: “We proactively aligned our financing structure with FACC’s long-term growth ambitions, creating a strong foundation for the investments ahead. The positive development of our business is now also reflected in more favorable financing conditions. Our strengthened financial position provides additional flexibility to further optimize our capital structure while ensuring sufficient liquidity to support our continued expansion.”

Investing in the future of aerospace growth

Global demand for air travel continues to drive aircraft production, with more than 42,000 new passenger aircraft expected to enter service by 2045. As a longstanding partner to the world’s leading aircraft and engine manufacturers, FACC is strategically expanding its capabilities to meet increasing production requirements across both established and next-generation aviation programs.

To support this growth trajectory, the company is investing in advanced automation, cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, and additional production capacity. These investments are designed to enhance efficiency, strengthen competitiveness, and ensure FACC remains well positioned to support the evolving needs of the global aerospace industry.

Long-term growth backed by long-term financing

To support its ambitious investment program, FACC has secured a new EUR 190 million syndicated financing facility with an initial term of three years and extension options of up to two additional years. The new agreement replaces the company’s existing EUR 225 million syndicated loan well ahead of its scheduled maturity in February 2027, providing a solid financial foundation for future growth initiatives.

Expanded banking consortium reflects strong market confidence

The refinancing broadens FACC’s banking network and further strengthens its financial partnerships. The new syndicate includes seven banking institutions, comprising five Austrian and two German banks, compared with the previous consortium of five Austrian lenders. UniCredit Bank Austria serves as the coordinating and lead bank for the transaction.

The successful refinancing underscores the confidence of FACC’s financing partners in the company’s strong operational performance, strategic direction, and long-term growth potential. It also reflects a shared belief in the positive outlook for the global aerospace industry and FACC’s role in supporting its continued expansion.
