Saskatchewan Polytechnic chooses ALSIM again and invests in ALX simulator to enhance its pilot training program

Saskatchewan Polytechnic has acquired an ALX flight simulator to further enhance its flight training program. The new simulator will be located at the institution’s campus in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Saskatchewan Polytechnic has already been operating AL250 and AL200 simulators. The ALSIM ALX provides up to 4 classes of aircraft from single-engine piston, twin engine piston, twin turbine up to medium category twin jet. The device is designed and approved for ATPL, CPL, and MCC in compliance with all current regulatory standards. The ALX offers advanced technology simulation equipment tailored to all specific training requirements. In addition, it has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.

This second simulator will provide many years of high quality, effective training. Simulators allow for repeated practice of specific maneuvers and procedures, helping students quickly improve and perfect their skills.
